The Origin of the Project
This site was born out of profound frustration. A few years ago, navigating a complex life transition, I sought out spiritual guidance online. I turned to search engines to find the "best" platforms, only to realize rapidly that the entire ecosystem of review sites was fundamentally broken.
Every "review" I read was identical. They merely regurgitated the marketing claims of the networks. They praised the "millions of satisfied customers" without ever speaking to one. They highlighted the "rigorous screening processes" without ever verifying them. It became blatantly obvious that none of the authors had ever actually spent a dime on the platforms they were enthusiastically recommending.
I decided that the esoteric industry desperately needed an objective, consumer-focused watchdog. It needed a Wirecutter-style approach: deep, expensive, and ruthlessly objective testing.
What We Do
